Some of the criticism of the Law of Attraction has been the perception that you just have to wish for something and without taking any action you will have what you want. Well of course if that was the case we’d all be living much bigger happier lives.

The The Secret movie’s images of Genies and magic lamps gave many people the wrong idea. People dismissed the ideas because they misinterpreted the meaning of this law.

It does NOT mean you shouldn’t take action; it means that the action you take should be based on your intentions and result from inspiration.

Unfortunately, many people take action trying to force whatever they want to manifest. And this action is usually based on worry or fear instead of inspiration or enthusiasm.

The power of intention is the key. When you focus on what you want instead of what you don’t want, you will know what the right action is. The universe will conspire to bring you just the right people, ideas, resources and circumstances to make taking action easy and joyful.

When the action you’re taking is creating feelings of being overwhelmed, worried, or fearful you can be assured that you are not on the right path. Struggle is never the answer to what you want.

This feeling of struggle and worry comes about when we take action to fix a problem instead of taking action as we focus on a solution. You will always feel better putting your attention on the solution instead of the problem.
