Mountains Feed My Soul

I was an Eastern girl for 50 years, but I knew for a long time that mountains feed my soul. I had planned to move west when I was young, but after college, life got in the way. Then, in my late 30s I discovered the rocky mountains in Maine and fell in love all over again.

But when I met my soulmate a few years later and we started traveling out west, I rediscovered the Grand Teton Mountains of Wyoming. Though there are many gorgeous mountain ranges out west, I suspect the Tetons will always be my favorite. I now live only 6 hours away from them!

Autumn always makes me happy - the cool crisp air, the smell of pumpkins and cinnamon, and the beautiful colors of the trees. Fall reminds me of the first day of school and Halloween.

Happy is my favorite dwarf

Every time I look at this photo it just makes me happy. I felt compelled to take this picture in a Disney store because it just made me laugh and feel good.
