Natural menopause treatment

I am afraid to try Hormone Replacement Therapy so I decided to go with a more natural treatment.

I was told that soy is an option when it comes to hot flashes. I tried it for a month and didn't notice any difference. Another option is Black Cohosh which I am taking now.

I am mostly bothered by hot flashes and night sweats but also am experiencing some memory loss and mood swings. It can be very frightening. I am using a liquid form of the herb. I take 1 mL daily mixed with water and have been doing so for six weeks now. It has seemed to help with my symptoms somewhat although I'm not sure if it is the herb itself or the placebo effect.

At this point, I don't care; I'm just glad to be getting some relief.
