Understanding the importance of time management gets more crucial as we get older. Mick Jagger sang “Time Is On My Side” over 40 years ago. Do you think time is on your side?
Or are you a ticking time bomb always conscious of time slipping away?
Successful happy women don’t use time, or lack of time, as an excuse - EVER. You are never too old to be happy, successful and follow your dreams.
Don’t believe me? Here are just a handful of examples:
Katsusuke Yanagisawa climbed Mount Everest in 2007 when she was 71
Dara Torres won 3 Silver Olympic medals when she was 41
Alice Porlock of Great Britain had her first book published at 102
Sandra Day O’Connor was 51 when she was sworn in as the first woman Justice to sit on the Supreme Court
Why is Time Management Important?
The term time management sometimes has a negative connotation. It seems like you’re trying to manage something bad or difficult. The importance of time management is that it can provide tools to help you make peace with time and get you more organized so you can enjoy the more meaningful things in your life.
I can’t imagine a better lesson on time management than Randy Pausch’s famous “Last Lecture”. Watch a short clip of his powerful message on the ultimate time management challenge. If you’ve never had the opportunity to see the entire lecture,
