Free classes online can be anything from a free online tutorial or courses that lead to degree programs from accredited colleges.
There are plenty of opportunities to learn by self-paced study at various web sites. These courses let you take a course online at your own pace.
Unfortunately, not all online courses are created equally and you often have to learn this by trial and error.
If you're not interested in a degree or certificate, but just want to refresh your skills or learn something new, try one of these websites:
