Watch Feel Good Movies

And Get Happy Fast

Watching a good movie is one of the easiest ways to be happy.

Do you watch feel good movies or do you watch movies that suck the joy right out of you? You know those movies that may even win Academy Awards but showcase the worst of humanity and the world we live in. Do you make choices that trigger you to feel good or bad? I have actually walked out of movies (luckily not too often) if it made me feel bad. I rather throw out the cost of a movie then sit through it and come and feeling really bad.

Seriously, why would you want to feel bad? Aren’t there enough challenges in life without purposely seeking out things that make you feel rotten?

The next time you go to the movies or rent a DVD from Blockbuster or Netflix, think twice before making your selection. It may seem silly or insignificant in the scheme of things, but think about the impact of continually watching pessimistic, violent or negative movies. It takes its toll after a while.

Don’t trade a couple of hours of entertainment for feeling good. Instead of watching some mind-numbing reality TV show, rent or download an inspirational movie or one that just plain makes you laugh and you can’t help but feel happy.
